Bodie Island Lighthouse to Cape Hatteras Lighthouse
Lighthouse Toy Run Route
The Lighthouse Ride follows the legendary NC 12 through the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. This iconic stretch of two-lane blacktop winds between crashing Atlantic surf on one side and the calm waters of the Pamlico Sound on the other—a pure Outer Banks dream.
You’ll cruise across the soaring Marc Basnight Bridge over Oregon Inlet, roll into the wild beauty of Pea Island National Wildlife Refuge, then coast over the curving Rodanthe “Jug Handle” Bridge. From there, the Jeep convoy rides through the laid-back beach villages of Rodanthe, Waves, Salvo, and Avon. Finally, as Cape Hatteras approaches, you’ll experience the narrowest part of the Outer Banks, with views of wind and kite surfers enjoying the calm water and steady winds in the popular and famous “Canadian Hole”.

Gather at Bodie Island Lighthouse, donate toys, purchase additional raffle tickets, group photo.
5:30PM
Depart Bodie Island Lighthouse at approximately 5:30PM
6:30—7:00PM
Arrive at Cape Hatteras Lighthouse, toy donation collection, raffle prize drawing, possible group photo.
