By joining the volunteer team, you’ll play a vital role in creating memorable experiences for attendees while supporting local charities.

About Volunteering
Volunteers typically assist in three hour shifts. Volunteers contributing at least three hours will receive an official OBX Jeep Invasion volunteer t-shirt (unisex).

- Housekeeping
- Security
- Kickoff Party and Event Site (Event Hours)
- Registration & Information
- Welcome attendees, provide event information, and distribute materials.
- Raffles
- Raffle ticket sales.
- Merchandise
- OBX Jeep Invasion official merch booth.
- Activities
- Various opportunities, such as posting at a Fun Run station.
- Marketing
- Social Media (professional experience required)
- Photography/Videography (intermediate to advanced/pro)

About the Event
OBX Jeep Invasion is held at the Soundside Event Site in Nags Head, NC, an amazing location overlooking the sound and historic Roanoke Island.
The event is an outdoor event, and is held rain or shine. In the event of severe weather, staff will provide information on changes and/or cancellations. The weather in September is typically beautiful but it is Fall—the sun (UV levels) and temperatures range. Bottled water will be available, and we recommend volunteers bring these items for their comfort:
- Light jacket/hoodie (it can be cool in the mornings)
- Ball cap/sun hat
- Sunscreen
- Sunglasses
- Wear comfortable shoes
