Dealer’s Choice

The Dealer’s Choice award is handpicked by the team at Outer Banks Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram. This winner represents the Jeep that catches their expert eye—whether it’s for standout style, creativity, or pure Jeep spirit.

No strict criteria—just one Jeep that earns the dealership’s personal stamp of approval!

Best in Show

The Best in Show title honors the Jeep that stands out as the most impressive overall exhibit. Judging will be based on:

Judges will be looking for the Jeep that truly captures the spirit of OBX Jeep Invasion—bold, unique, and built to impress!

Best in Each Model – JT, JL, JK

The Best in Model awards recognize standout Jeeps in each specific model class—JT, JL/JLU, and JK/JKU.

Judged at the discretion of the panel, based on overall build or pristine stock, style, presence, and that extra something that makes it shine among its peers.

No strict criteria—just Jeep pride and standout builds within each model category.

Best Vintage (CJ, YJ, TJ)

The Best Vintage award honors classic Jeeps that have stood the test of time—CJ, YJ, and TJ models that turn heads and tell a story:

  • Attention to detail in bodywork, paint, interior, and undercarriage
  • Originality and authenticity of the build
  • Overall presentation and preservation

Whether it’s restored to factory perfection or preserved with character, this category celebrates timeless Jeep legends.

Long Distance

The Long Distance award goes to the Jeeper who’s traveled the farthest to attend the OBX Jeep Invasion! Whether you crossed a few state lines or made a full cross-country trek—this one’s for the road warriors who go the extra mile (literally) to be here.

Cleanest Jeep

The Cleanest Jeep award goes to the ride that’s spotless from top to tread. Judging will focus on:

  • Interior & Exterior Detailing – Every surface should shine, inside and out.
  • No Dirt, No Mud – We love trail rigs, but this category is all about that showroom sparkle.
  • Attention to Detail – Clean lines, polished finishes, and a pristine presentation.

This one’s for the detail-obsessed Jeepers who make cleanliness an art form!

Dirtiest Jeep

This one’s for the mud lovers and trail crushers! The Dirtiest Jeep award celebrates those who’ve truly earned their grime:

  • Authentic Off-Road Dirt – Judges are looking for Jeeps covered in real mud, dust, and grit from genuine trail adventures—not just a last-minute splash job.
  • Hard-to-Reach Grime – Bonus points for dirt tucked into wheel wells, undercarriages, and other tricky spots.
  • Trail-Tested Look – The dirtier, the better—as long as it’s the real deal.

If your Jeep tells a story in mud, this is your category!

Most Creativity

The Most Creativity award goes to the Jeep that turns heads and sparks imagination. There are no strict rules here—just bold ideas, wild builds, and one-of-a-kind designs.

  • Judged by Overall Impact – From wild wraps to themed builds and unexpected mods, it’s all about standing out.
  • No Set Criteria – Purely based on the judges’ discretion and creative wow-factor.

If your Jeep is a rolling work of art, this is your moment to shine!

Most Off-Road Capable

Built for the trail? This one’s for you. The Most Off-Road Capable award goes to the Jeep that looks ready to conquer any terrain:

  • Lift and suspension setup
  • Tire and rim selection
  • Off-road accessories like winches, bumpers, rock sliders, recovery gear, and more.

Whether it’s crawling rocks or blazing trails, your Jeep should show it’s built for the wild! Make sure to include specs of your build—gearing, axles, lockers, etc.—on the Show & Shine Info sheet!
